I don't like overly heavy movies and tend toward animated stuff and comedies, things that I can enjoy if I'm paying attention to them but can also focus on something else and come back to it occasionally without being totally lost, so my favorites generally aren't very deep.
My top, though, I've always loved The Lion King. (The original,
definitely not the remake.

) I just love the majesty of it, the artwork, the story, the music is great, even the versions of the songs in the credits (usually with Disney movie songs, I love the movie version and hate the credits version), and just the warm feeling I get when I hear or see it playing.

And considering the sequel was direct to TV and not another big-budget theater movie, it's also pretty great. I still watch them both fairly regularly even as an adult without any kids to entertain.
I also have a soft spot for Lilo and Stitch, many of the Marx Brothers movies, Back to the Future, The Birdcage, Up, and I'm sure several more that just aren't coming to me at the moment.
