Favorite thing YOUR chickens do!

I have a few favorites...
1. The chicken scratch. It is hilarious. Kind of like a choreographed dance.
2. When Pigpen finds food and calls for Lucy and she flat out gets it across the yard to see what he has.
3. When Pigpen, who's been my baby since day one and is now crowing and clucking will sit behind me when he's tired and start purring and peeping and fall asleep snoring on my ear!

4. Oh yeah can't forget the "broken" chickens when I try to get them to wear the diapers I got for them :/ Priceless.

I love the Ugly Butterfly Maneuver, when I pick them up and they don't want to be up. Wings out, head down, and paddling.

I love the way they'll mill around me impatiently until I sit down and then can get up on my lap. Oh, and the way the insist upon wiping their beaks on me. (I choose to pretend it's really a snuggle.

)

Oh! And Five's little squeak. And when Mimi sings quietly to herself while she's laying. <3

I love it when my three bantams chase and try to catch moths and other flying insects! They almost never catch the bug, but it is a hilarious site seeing the hens clucking like crazy and running into each other;sometimes they even attempt to catch the bugs by flying!!

My chickens run full tilt to greet me too and I absolutely love it. I think their lopsided little run is so cute!!

My Jersey Giant knocks on the door to lee me know she and the girls are hungry and it's time to get the day started...I love it!

I think my favorite is when my cochin scratches. She wiggles like a bowl of Jello and doesn't really accomplish much, lol.

I find it hilarious when Gregory Peck, our roo, picks up food and calls all of the ladies to come over from every corner of the yard and enjoy some food and then he quickly gobbles it all up without giving them any! He thinks he's so funny
