favorite type of meat bird?

what is everyone's favorite meat bird? I am a newbie and plan on raising some meat birds along with my current 5 hens (although i think i have a few roos in the bunch, no bueno since i am in the city.)

I'm kind of new also, but I am raising Cornish Cross chickens. Ready for the table in 6-8 weeks.

Our favorite meat bird would probably be Cortunix quail, great taste, eggs 16 days to hatch, mature in 6 weeks, they don't eat alot nor take much space and don't make much noise at all. The little eggs also make great pickled eggs.
