Favourite Blue or Blue/Green Egg Layers?

I've got a couple Azure Blues coming in the fall. I don't know how well they do in the cold, but they are from an Ontario hatchery, so I'm assuming they will do ok.

This year I’m adding Whiting true blue, whiting true green and cream legbar.

Where are you getting them from? I thought that they weren't able to come because of Murray McMurray's Avian influenza problem?

The WTB & WTG were not at McM’s affected site. (They have multiple areas of different breeders). The CCL I am hatching with DS!

I love my Easter Eggers BUT my Creme Legbar (Butter,) is very sweet and chill! I'm not sure how they do in extreme cold but they do well in Oregon cold.... View attachment 3079187

Also, if you want cream legbar hatching eggs, I bought mine from Meyer Hatchery, about $3 per egg and only $10 to ship a dozen! I would’ve just bought a few chicks, but after hatching with my class I wanted to do a hatch for DS to also experience it!


I must say, it seems quite addicting…I *might* be planning two hatches for next year already. Lol

It’s an Olive Egger legbar mix! She actually lays more of a minty gray green.
