Well, That could be a toss up for myself, but Muscovies will ALWAYS be number one. Then second will be Indies. Have been raising them both for year, Have tryed new breeds before but never went anywhere with them. These 2 breeds have been with me through thick and thin...

Currently I have my two pekins... (well one pekin and one stanbridge white i think). They are awesome. I am in love their their personalities.

But I have wanted and really really want a black swedish. I think they are beautiful and really cool. I have heard they have good personalities too.

Problem is I cant find anyone local that has them, and I only want 1 or 2. Seems like every hatchery charges through the nose for such a small order.
What to do, what to do?

Oh from personal expirience... would be, Rouens(i have a hen who is so personable!) very chattery and flirty. I also love mutts. a grab bag of surprises! and i WANT butterscotch calls.

but that was just for domestics!

For ornamentals..... Wood ducks, pintails, teal, egyptian geese! im getting some egyptians when my neighbor has some available!!!

my favoured breed (of all the breeds that already exist

) is the Silver Welsh Harlequin. And you can autosex them. That's a good advantage.
