Hi there,
Our Rhode Island Red girls seem to have white tips to their combs - it started when it got colder (we live in northern AB, so, cold and dry winters). I didn’t think much of it but am now wondering if it could be something we need to intervene and treat. It doesn’t look like the photos I’ve seen so far of favus, but I’m at a loss of what else it could be if not. I’d welcome anyone with experience with the tips of combs/wattles going pale/white!
The white specks on their feathers is just yogurt from this morning’s treats
there’s no sign of anything on their skin/feathers.
Thank you!!
