I was told these were Fawn OEGB but I didn't realize there is more than one fawn color. I now know there is fawn, red breasted fawn, silver duckwing fawn and probably more that I haven't heard of. My question is, does anyone know what fawn they are? The seller did not have a rooster so I don't know what color he would have been. These girls are so sweet though. I thought I'd see what I got when I crossed them with my self blue roo.

Thanks

They carry gold, not silver, so they are not fawn silver duckwing or any other silver variation

I am not aware of fawn red breasted as it is not a recognised variety, so I haven;t got a clue of the standard they are breeding towards.

In the first generation of a cross to lavender (self blue), you should get darker birds (dun-based chocolates). They will probably still show the gold, and they will all be split to lav.
