2 polish roos and 19 hens. all in coop about 21 weeks. run is 16' x 32'
Dark polish is dominate full comb and wattles.
light polish has very small wattles. this afternoon found light dude with alot of blood around his backside.hens following
picking on him.
Exam found a broken feather with alot of blood but no other injury. He seems healthy and all eat and drinking normally.

Do I need to intervene or will it heal on its own? Should I go down to one roo?

I would separate him until he heals. Wash the area and put neosporin on it ( without the pain killer in it) The hens will peck the poor thing to death. You might have to go down to one roo but I think your hen to roo ratio is OK. Others will add information. Poor little guy.
