I’m not sure if this helps, but I just did wire wrapping on some feathers for the first time early this week.
All my poultry is molting right now so I’m trying to get as many nice feathers as I can.
This was my test feather.

And a close up(please excuse the dirty window) of the feathers I used in my project.

I want to make some earrings and maybe hair accessories too. I love the idea of Christmas ornaments too!

I tried a couple of folks there but they simply resell...so I'm looking for the artists themselves. Someone sent me a link to a gal in Arizona who weaves feathers into cloaks - amazing!

No. No. NO! That wasn't me! That was an actual artist who uses dried flowers and botanicals to create other images. It's from a published story on her but I can't find the link, only that single picture. I wish I could properly credit her and show you more of her work because it's incredible.
