Feather 'chaff'?

    Any tips for getting rid of the papery feather covering? My chickens clean where they can reach, but their heads and necks aren't as they should be!! [​IMG]

    You can pick them off carefully but I wouldn't worry. Let them have a place to dust bathe every once in a while and once they are out of their gangly teen stage, they will fall off and be normal looking.
