One of my quail has what I thought was an abscess. So I got some blu-kote, and today I went to drain it. Upon further inspection it seemed much more like an ingrown feather or feather cyst. Is this something I can fix at home? or do I need a vet. :-/

I have had 2 hens get these ingrown feathers or cysts. I put the bluekote on both but had to open it up before it went away. I used a razor blade and just barely nicked it, it wasn't runny but thick with not much in either one, doctored with bluekote after and they healed up fine.
