Feather Eater Cure?

A couple weeks ago I discovered that three of my hens are eating feathers. I tried a protein increase and separating them but it didn't help. What I need to know is is there a spray or lotion of any kind that I can put on them that will stop the pecking?

I was reading another thing about mites and it said that chickens will peck there feathers to get the pain away.

Yeah, I saw something about that but I checked and they don't have them. Plus there not pecking at themselves just each other.

Does anybody know of a spray or lotion that we could use for them?

Put Vick's Vapor Rub on the affected areas and see if that stops the feather picking. If not, purchase Rooster Booster Black Salve and give it a try...dont purchase the Rooster Booster Pick No More. Pinless peepers might work also. If none of these things work; cull the feather pickers.

Wouldn't the Vick's rub hurt them if they ate it?
