Feather Eating Hen

Ok, I am getting irritated! I have 1 BA hen that just sneaks up on one of the other girls and grabs a beak full of feathers and yanks them out....she doesn't do it constantly, it's almost like she is sneaky about it...Grr...it's ticking me off

This was posted on a chicken thing the other day it might help
Watch out for cannibalism of new feathers as they are rich in blood vessels and tasty to other birds. Scarper spray will stop pecking if its starts.
Not sure if its the new ones she's pecking at or not but some sort of bitter spray on them might deter her.

Thank you~ I will give that a try...They are almost 4 months old, so there are new feathers coming out still....
