im sure this comes up all the time but i couldnt find a thread that really answered my question.
This morning i noticed one of the birds eating feathers off the other. It doesnt seem to hurt so far but she took about 5 feathers in the time i sat there watching.
Should i separate them? Will it progress to pecking the skin? is there any way to stop it? If i do have to separate will i be able to re integrate?
I started with 3 chicks and am down to 2 due to an accident. The coop is fairly small but there is an enclosed run. Based on everything i read i thought it would be large enough. I dont know if theyre bored or what
