Picked up this chick at Cal Ranch in a box labeled "bantams"
Anybody have any ideas as to breed?

Your chick looks more like a Buff Brahma , here's a picture:

Cochins and Brahmas look remarkably similar at this age. Brahmas have a pea comb and Cochins have a single comb--I cannot tell from this angle. Do you happen to have straight-on headshot?
