Feather footed crossed with clean legged...babies have ? legs???

Bec - I asked the same question myself yesterday. All 6 of my EE eggs that hatched have clean legs so I have to assume that the GoldenLakenvelder was the papa to all of them, not one of my d'uccles. Funny thing is they are a variety of colors.

My only roo has feathered feet and my 7 girls do not. I got 9 out of 24 with feathered feet! Interestingly enough, there are different degrees of featheredness, some have very few and some have tons! Have fun

i have salmon faverolle hen and roo, in a mixed crowed. some of hers come out with four toes and feather footed and some with five and no feathers. so you never know. on the other hand, i had a white rock hatch but i couldn't find a little yellow chick..... it was black with four toes and feathered feet... sf roo must have been the daddy....

Hedwig has feathery feet. Two of her last seven babies had feathery feet, but in one case the father was obviously our silkie roo, so go figure. I think it just depends. Good luck! Please let us know as soon as they hatch! What a pretty momma.

Same, here. Hedwig has only lightly feathered feet, but her other baby's feet were so heavily feathered I wanted to name her Boots...I lost the name game on that one, though.
