feather footed freak...what am I??

I am by no way a chicken expert, but I wonder if it may have brahma in it. Especially as big as it is. Brahma's have feathers on their legs and are a large bird.

Just what I needed. I told DW that all I would raise is utility egg layers. None of those fuzzy evil silkies, puffy headed things or shaved necks. Now I have to explain this feather foot thing. I think a RIR with a recessive feather foot gene might be easier to explain.
