I picked up some day old polish at a local swap and didnt notice till I got home that 2 were feather footed. At the tiime I was figuring those ones were probably crossed with a cochin or something, but now that they're a month or so old, they look pure polish to me except for the feathered feet.... anyone see one before? Think it's a mutt? Wonder what it was/is crossed with?

Disregard the purple mohawk, lol, it's blue kote from a near scalping she (?) suffered....

Maybe a Silkie x Polish cross? I think it would be wonderful to have feather footed Polish....
What is the texture of the feathers like?

Ok, the two feather footed ones DO have 5 toes. The other six that look like Polish have 4..... I wonder, then, if they are all polish/sultan crosses, or if I simply have two sultans and 6 polish?

Dang, I was getting excited, thinking someone had come up with a polish for feather footed breeds. I should probably mink oil my Brahmas, we just got over 2 inches of rain in the last few hours.
