I have a little Polish chick who is now 3 weeks old. It has this crazy feather on it's wing that is growing in backwards. It looks sorta like a chicken cowlick. Is this something I should be concerned about? If so what should I do? Here are some pics to give you a better idea of the situation:

Thanks for any ideas!

PS: If anyone has tips on training a white fluffy footed chicken to keep their feet clean, I'm all ears.

well in this situation since its a polish I would wait till it is mature and maybe that wing had an early start on feathering and all the other feathers will grow into it. and if it doesent get it checked out by a vet or you can always clip that down to the skin but get somthing to stop the bleeding.

Your little one will molt about twice before he is grown. I wouldn't worry about it for now and see what happens after he molts the first time.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't think about it possibly righting itself with the first molt.
