FEATHER LOSS + BLEEDING

Hi guys! My brown leghorn has lost a great amount of feathers around her neck area. This morning it has begun to bleed! What is this and what should I do for her?! I put her in a separate cage at the moment, because if my other chickens see the blood.....not good.

Do u have a rooster??? Sometimes when the rooster are fertilizing the eggs they get to rough.

No, I don't have any roo's! And her feather loss is more in her beast area, its really bad you can see her skin and its bleeding..

ohhh sounds bad well maybe the other chickens are picking on her. Also is it happening around her belly too??? Could u get some pics??

Its just at the top of her chest area, and yes I will get pictures! The only eason I joined this website is to help my poor girl!! I will get them in a couple of hours!

Ok for now keep her somewhere else from the other chickens and try to white the blood with a warm wet towel and after that make sure the places u wiped dry then give her some fresh bedding so she will feel confortable. Give her some water and food.
