Any ideas what I’m dealing with here. My buff has had feather loss for some time now. I have a small flock of 4. No other birds affected. She is laying and acting normal. Today I noticed the patchy area on her back was inflamed. I do not see any evidence of mites or lice. I’m not sure whether she is molting or just getting picked on. I thought it was molting because it was patterned. Wings, back, and a little on her head. I want to treat her but I’m not sure what I’m dealing with. Thanks in advance.

It looks as if flock mates are feather pecking/plucking her.
That’s what I was afraid of. She was a later addition and has never fully assimilated. It just seemed so evenly affected that I wasn’t sure it could be from pecking.
