Feather loss on hens at base of tail

I just noticed a few of my almost 1 year old hens loosing feather at the base of their tails (see attached pictures). Is this a sign of bullying or are they sick? I have 1 silkie rooster in my flock.

My coop is pretty roomy, they have plenty of room to get away from each other

Can you post some photos of all the hens and your coop/run set-up?
You mention it's pretty roomy, but what are the dimensions? (sq ft of coop and run)
What do you feed, including treats (how much)?
I agree, it looks like mating damage, but there could also be some feather picking going on as well.
 
I have never seen mating damage when the flock rooster was a silky and the hens were large fowl.

Let's have some photos of Mr. Silkie along with the LF hens for size reference. He may be fulling out feathers as he climbs on :lol:
