Feather loss

Its been really hot for the past couple weeks here and ive been noticing that some of my hens are loosing feathers on the back where the tail feathers start. Is this cause of the heat or are they digging for something? They just got a good dusting not too long ago.

I dusted with sevins dust and i did repeat the dusting. Im thinking it may be a pecking problem but this didnt start until i introduce a new RIR hen to the group. She is really dominate

Should i just remove her or is there something i can do. I know there is gonna be a pecking order
