Feather pattern on a Sebright chick

I have long admired Sebrights and think there patterns are beautiful. Recently I purchased a golden and a silver Sebright chick and at 1.5 weeks old their feathers are coming in. I understand that most of the images I've seen are show chickens, and these are not, however will the feather pattern change as they get older, or will the feathers always be so 'mottled'? I was expecting black to only be along the edge.
