One of my girls looks like she is being pecked by the others,no blood but she looks a bit scruffy. They are not overcrowded but arespending more time in the coop due to the shorter day.

She stopped laying for a couple of days but this has now resumed she seems ok but I am a bit concerned.
any advice welcome
regards nick

i THOUGHT THAT BUT IT SEEMS A BIT DIFFERENT PLUS SHE IS ONLY 11MONTHS OLD AND SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE IS BEING SCRAGGED,IT SEENS TO HAVE DIED DOWN A BIT,IS THERE ANYTHING DEFINITIVE TO LOOK FOR TO CONFIRM ITS MOLT?
THANKS FOR THE REPLY!

At this point she should be loaded with pin feathers. (Spikey, sheathed feathers also referred to as blood feathers.)
