We have 8 chickens. 3 BO, 2 RIR, 2 Bantam Cochin, 1 EE. I noticed that the 1 EE was getting her tail feathers picked out. I was worried maybe she was getting picked on because she is the only EE...the rest all have a look-a-like friend(s). I noticed today that one of the RIR has some missing feathers and some 1/2 feathers on her back. I am pretty sure it is one of the BO's doing it because I have seen her do it. I was contemplating squarting her with a water gun when I caught her in the act. This BO is the same BO that is not getting a comb or wattle like her BO coopmates. I have read that giving them protein can help? Or, perhaps apple cider vinegar? Anything thoughts???
