I have read a number of things on the forum on how to stop or imprive feather picking. However I have not been able to find Hot Pick, Avia charge 2000, Blue Kote cream, or Flock Block. All these things were recomended and would love to find them. I will try letting the chickens out today for a free range test. If anyone knows where I can find these things or has any sugestions i would love it. Thanks so much.YourLinkGoesHere

AviaCharge 2000 can be purchased online from McMurry hatchery (see ad sponsors above for link) > you can also add a cooked eggyolk thru their feed and offer live culture yogurt daily (both has a bit of methionine) in addition to the avia charge... sunflower seed hearts are good too .

You can make your own "flock block" by cooking up some oatmeal and adding their regular feed to it and mixing in some of the aviacharge/sunflowerseed hearts, pepitas (pumkin seed hearts > unsalted for both of those) and some chopped dried fruits... the cooked oatmeal will bind it all together... make up a daily portion and put it in plastic baggy (form into a block or ball) and put it in the freezer... I make up a big batch at once and just take out what I need... I give this to them in the late afternoon.
