I have a super cute little 13 week easter egger that won't stop pulling feathers out of a 15 week cockeral. I keep hoping his hormones will kick in and she'll leave him alone. She leaves all the hens alone and only pecks at the the one rooster. He had a small bald spot that is growing back, now that they are mixed into the big flock and have more space. Should I just leave them be and let it sort itself out?

If its just feathers and not breaking skin, I'd let them sort it out, personally, as long as shes not chasing him down when hes leaving her alone far away from here. If he starts bleeding, that's a huge arrow over his head that says 'pick on me' and I'd remove him until he heals.

It's not agression, she just periodically pulls a feather and little roo just turns his body so she can't peck again. Everybody else leaves him alone unless an older bird decides to start chasing the young ones for a minute, but he isn't singled out.

It sound like it’s fine, you should let them sort it out, but if it starts turning into aggression you should probably do something about it
