Feather sexing BCM's

Wouldn't it be the males that have the most noticeable red/copper in BCMs? We only had one hatch of BBCMs last year but it was delightfully early when we could tell the boys from the girls. Comparing that to the orps, of course, whom we couldn't be certain until 6 months!
