There was a loud shout, startling Rio. The others walked away from their trainers as something was lowered into another pit.

Rio took RainWhisper's wing oin his mouth and gently tugged at it, moving closer to the pit. The thing could now be seen as a wiggling mass of chicks. The other Nightmares juimped in and slowly started walking towards the chicks. Rio snorted and shook his tail.
