EagleWing was bleeding, but he shook off the pain like it was nothing but dirt. He was too focused on getting rid of BurningFlame. He charged head first like a bull, right into BurningFlame's abdomen. He crashed into BurningFlame, and they both landed in the stream. EagleWing dunked BurningFlame's face into the water, tempted to drown him. He couldn't. He could never kill someone. So, he left BurningFlame's head soaking in the water just long enough to fill his lungs with it. He took him to shore, and left him coughing and wheezing. He waited for BurningFlame to say that he gave up.

Burningflame gasped for breath. He coughed up blood and water. Suddenly, Starshine, his daughter, came running up. "Leave him alone!" she clucked. She sat by his side to see if he was alright. (hey!!! I just noticed this! - Burningflame and a hen, idk what hen, had Hurricanepaw and Starshine. That makes them brother and sister! lol... hmmmmmm...)

"This is my father!" she clucked, her eyes burning with fury. "And he didn't try to kill Hurricanepaw, he tried to save him from a river when Hurricanepaw ATTACKED him! Right Burningflame?"
Burningflame couldn't answer. He had lied in the first place so her. He HAD tried to kill his son. He caughed and began to act as if he was very sick. Starshine glared at EagleWing then turned to her father. "Let's go to the med. den," she clucked. Then turned BACK to EagleWing. "Leave our territory,' she clucked. Then she lead her father back to camp.
EagleWing stared, his eyes still gigantic. He knew that BurningFlame was lying. He just didn't know how to respond; how could he possibly convince Starshine? So there he stood, frozen, just watching them walk away.
