The fox slinked back, and rubbed it's face with it's paws. It growled in anger at the little hen for scratching it. It growled increasingly louder, inching closer and closer. Suddenly, it charged for her.

EagleWing couldn't bear seeing the helpless little hens be attacked by a fox. Finally, he worked up the courage to reveal himself. He lept out of the bush and tackled the fox. He uttered a frightening snake-like hiss and kicked it. It ran away howling, and EagleWing crowed to warn it to stay away.
