Feathered legs vs clean legs

Which do you like better feathered legs or clean legs?

I like the look of feathered legs and the feathers keep the birds legs warm

I have both. Living in Ohio, I prefer clean legs. Mud, dirt, leaves, snow, it all gets stuck on my brahmas legs and feet, making it unpleasant looking. And a pain when little snow balls get stuck in the feathers and I have to get them off

I think the big floofy feathered legs look beautiful, like a well groomed collie looks beautiful. But I know I'm not going to keep up on the grooming, so I have short haired dogs. Same thing with feathered legs. I have dirt and leaves and snow and mud. So clean legs for me.

Clean legs are my preferred look and practically. I have a Silkie and her feet are slightly dirty. She being kept in her temporary cage with Timothy hay. Not once has she been outside yet. She has slight poop on her feathered feet. And it making my OCD fuming deep down to clean! LOL
