Feathered legs??

This came out of my blue orpington pen. Ermm...thinks these will be feathered legs? If so, someone's been sneaking in!!

I hatched one this spring that randomly had feathered legs like that. Mom was an Easter egger and dad was a buff Orpington. Neither parents had leg feathers. She has very light feathering on her legs as an adult.

Yes, those are definitely feathered legs, so your chick is not pure Orpington.
