FeatherFeetFarms Shipped Egg Hatch-a-long!

I can guarantee you that the post office never keeps packages "right side up" for any reason, whatsoever. All eggs are pointy side up during shipping, regularly. Seller's packaging, in terms of vertical orientation, doesn't matter at all when the box is regularly all higgledy-piggledy (and it is, for certain.) This is why they need a rest upon arrival, because they've been in a tornado until they get home.

I set them today! Styrafoam carton with holes in the bottom and small holes on the sides for ventilation. If any hatch I have a broody hen to put day old chicks under.

I got an egg from a friend when I was over at her house today. Day 6 on the first eggs and say 0 on this one. Do you think if I put any eggs that hatch under a broody, then in a week when this one hatches I put it under the broody at night with one week olds she would accept it?

Still needing an answer on this one.

Day 10 candling wasnt great. I'll post the exact results tommorow, but there was no movement. Some embryos looked good. But some, like egg 1, were not visible anymore. Soldier egg looked good!
