feathering out

I read that in some breeds pullets feather out faster than cockerels. Can anyone tell me what breeds this might be true for?

Not helpful I know, but I do know there are some Orpington lines that the cockerels feather out slower. My RIR Bantam cockerels feathered very slowly.
