Feathering sexing chicks.

Does this really work? If so I have a crazy hatch as they all seem to be girls! Of course we did have a few that didn't make it and I did not feather sex those. Not that I'm complaining, but I will be just floored if they all turn out to be girls.
 
Feather sexing works if you breed for it. Meaning, you have to breed a fast feathering to slow feathering in order to sex chicks this way.
 
Ok, I think I understand that. Now I have to figure out what breeds might be considered slow feathering as I'm pretty sure that the Red Star roo we have is fast feathering and he is the daddy to most of the babies.
