Hi, I'm sure this question is asked from every chicken newbie but when can I put the chickens outside???

I've had the chicks for about 3.5 weeks, I don't know how old they were when I got them but they looked like cute tiny chicks. Now nearly all of them have feathers everywhere except the head, and those are now coming in too. I saw one fly vertically about 2 feet in the air, which tells me it's got a hefty amount of decent feathers.

What's your recommendation, thanks!

I had the same questions today. The answer I got was that around 4- 5 weeks and to leave the heat lamp on a bit... I have let mine run around a bit outside to let them get used to being out there. Once it gets warmer it is always better so I have been told. I hope this has helped!
