Feathers falling out-pulled out?

I posted a similar question here about a month or so ago, felt to be molting, but the situation is worsening. Feathers gone from their backs and now legs. Sometimes skin seems red, other times normal skin color. No obvious bleeding sites. No rooster in there, just 5 hens, for laying only. Still eating, drinking, pooping and laying normally. They get Purina Feather Fixer or Layena pellets, a handful of scratch a day, some rare scraps and some weeds on occasion.. Seems like the feathers start coming back, and the next day I go out and they're gone again! I can't catch anyone picking, either! What gives?!?!

This happened to my chickens too. They were like this for probably about a year. What you could try is putting some pine tar on the bare patches. This worked for me. If they are picking each other's feathers out, then the pine tar should discourage them from doing it anymore.
