This is probably a strange question but has anyone found a way of not having feathers flying everywhere? My neighbours are great but I don't want to test their patience lol!!

They are going to molt no matter it what they have to get rid of the old and grow then new. Try keeping them home if they are dropping feathers in your neighbors yards. Not much we can do about molt.

The only way I have found to deal with feathers all over the place is to mow them up. It works like a feather vacuum! If you don't need to cut the grass, but have a ton of feathers, just set the blades high, and go over the area until they are gone. They are great in compost piles too!

Great idea; I am constantly taking feathers into the compost, was thinking a leaf blower set on reverse would suck them up lol... The mower would totally work :D

If the neighbors cimplain, you can inform them that feather meal is actually very expensive and a great source of Nitrogen, lol maybe they OWE you for swiping your fertilizer hahaha ;)

The nice thing about the mower, is it chops them up for you, so they distribute into your compost nicely. When my birds are molting, it looks like there was a pillow fight in my backyard every day. A quick couple of passes with my lawn mower, and my grass is green again :)
