So today I used the gasoline treatment with A&D ointment for scaly leg mites. My girl did fine, but I noticed her belly in her vent were very red and looked irritated. The feathers were missing before but I guess when she got wet it was a lot more obvious. I did not soak her body in the gasoline, but I initially have her a little bath and then again afterwards because I'm sure she had some splash from the gasoline and I wanted to put some A&D on it to soothe it. Does anyone know what this is, and what I can do to help her? Also is this going to affect the rest of my flock?

Poor thing. How is she now?
I think she's okay now. The plucking was I believe due to being broody and the legs were scaly mites so I treated her legs and most of the scales I think fell off. Seems to look a lot better

And the redness is completely gone
