Feathers look cut?

Hi everyone!

I have a Rhode island red with a weird issue. We went out to the coop tonight and her left side has a bunch of feathers missing. They look to be shorn off of the wing tip, and whatever happened removed some of her flank feathers too. I have included an imgur album of both sides for comparison.

We don't clip them, but can't imagine what could have left such neat lines and taken off some of the back feathers... Any ideas?

Hmmmm, i am momentarily stumped, is there any wounds on her?
My only other question is has she gotten out frequently and a fed up neighbor clipped them?

No wounds, we checked her over thoroughly. We let them free range but our neighbors are a sweet older couple who love the chickens as much as we do and they don't range any farther than our two yards.
