I had one hen that was all ratty looking and seemed to never grow feather back! I changed up the feed to a "feather fixer" with more protein and it was within two months that she was full and nice and shinny again!

Definitely need to see photos....from now and if possible just after they started molting.June is rather early for them to start moulting but something is definitely not right if they still have not grown their new feathers in.

So they molted in June 2017 at 13 months old? That is really odd. I've seen birds start molting in August, but June seems really early.... despite the shortening of days that begins the end of June, it's slight until around August.No roosters, just 8 hens in one coop. They all will be 2 years old in May. They get along pretty well, however one can be a bully at times
