Feathers still gone after molting

I had one hen that was all ratty looking and seemed to never grow feather back! I changed up the feed to a "feather fixer" with more protein and it was within two months that she was full and nice and shinny again!

June is rather early for them to start moulting but something is definitely not right if they still have not grown their new feathers in.

Can you post a photo of them?

Definitely need to see photos....from now and if possible just after they started molting.

No roosters, just 8 hens in one coop. They all will be 2 years old in May. They get along pretty well, however one can be a bully at times
So they molted in June 2017 at 13 months old? That is really odd. I've seen birds start molting in August, but June seems really early.... despite the shortening of days that begins the end of June, it's slight until around August.

All the feed recommendations might be good,
but first let's find out why this happened by asking.....
Did you get the birds as day old chicks in 2016?
What and how exactly were/are you feeding?
How big is coop in feet by feet..and pics of coop would help too?
Have you checked them for external parasites(lice, mites)?
