I just incubated four eggs from my RIRs and all hatched and seem healthy. Was wondering how long it normally takes for them to start growing their wing feathers? Two were born on Friday afternoon and have started growing them already.

All of ours hatched Saturday morning and they already have their wing feathers in too.

Really fast! I got mine from TSC the day they arrived from the hatchery and they already had wing feathers started!

I guess chicks can't just be fuzzy and cute forever. Although they'll always be cute.

Immediatly after they hatch with my chicks, though it depends on what you feed them also.
