I am not sure whe I am going to candle. I set them in Feb 1st, so I am thinking 8 days which will be Monday the 9th. Not sure I could see anything before that time????

I'll candle my eggs on day 8.
I'll post whats going on with mine.

I just candled my eggs, this is the progress.
WS= all good
BA = all good
GL = 9 good 3 ?
LH mix = all good
So out of 42 eggs all are doing good but 3.
I'm very happy I will check them again on day 14, if the 3 are still the same I will take them out.

I candled them today. All 3 of my blue silkie eggs were looking great! My white silkie mommy is doing great job! My 6 ameraucana's eggs (Black &
splash) in my incubator are supposed to hatch on Valentines day! And they looked like doing great too. (I couldn't see some of them because they are sooo green...). I love silkie's eggs. sooo easy to see what's going on inside of them.

day 14 candled this is what I got
the 3 GL was the same and 1 more quit
so 4 GL no good
1 WS quit also.
All the rest are growing and look great.

So 37 of 42 I'm happy , just have to keep waiting and watching now.

Im going to be moving the eggs to the hatcher this evening. Ill be candling them before I put them in.
