Day 7 here. It looks like my broody is 3 for 3 on her eggs. Unfortunately, my incubator has been running 5 degrees low and 30% too high on humidity for 24 hours. But I think I have at least two good eggs in it (out if 8). I picked up an LG still air today and will probably switch over tomorrow once it's calibrated. Oh well, if none hatch I have my mail orders coming end of March!

Went through today and out of the eggs that are good I figured out what will be hatching.

When I candled a few days ago 9 out of 10 have signs of life. Great veins, little eye, and movement.

I will be having all Easter Egger crosses. These are my friends eggs and she named them and wrote down each one for me and who mothered/fathered it. Pretty cool of her.

15 of 19 eggs are developing well. they are crosses of turkens, orps and marans over turkens, orps, and marans. So will probably have purebreds and mutts. there are also 6 marans eggs that are too dark to see yet, so 25 eggs in the bator now. Day 5 just ended tonight

I set 42 in the Hovabator on Saturday evening.

3x mutt
5x olive egger
11x RIR
23x White Leghorn

All of the above layers are crossed with my monster easter egger rooster (I believe he is 5-6 years old now)

Candeling later tonight

4 White Leghorn eggs had the red ring of death. I couldn't see any veins in the darker eggs, will candle again around 10-11 days in the middle of next week.
