Well I'm starting to loose hope for my incubator eggs. I just started day 23 and no pips. I thought there may have been some rocking overnight since two eggs are now touching, but I haven't seen anything else. My Janoel was running about 5 degrees low for at least 18 hours, maybe 24 around days 5-6. That's when I switched to the LG still air. What's the latest anyone has had a hatch?
Yes, that's correct math and it goes hourly also. Day 1 is 24 hours after set.Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I was told by a breeder that your eggs (for chickens) should hatch the same day of the week as you set them. For example, if you set on a Friday, they would hatch three weeks later, ON Friday. Doing the math, let's say Friday is the 1st of the month, three weeks later would be the 22nd. Exactly 21 days later.
Ditto on thatAt this point, if there are no pips, I would candle them and take a peek and see if there is any movement. Be careful not to let your humidity escape too much and fill up your water reservoirs quickly while you are in there...
Some breeds come early and some come late! I have had day 23 & 24 hatchers and some day 19. I hope for you that yours are just late because of your heat and will be ok!
Haha is that a "Poop on you" or what Lol....I thought this was hysterical...too bad there is so much condensation.
