It's crazy how fast they grow! These are the 3 we kept from this hatch. The one on the left is a pure Silver Laced Wyandotte and the 2 on the left are the Cyandotte-cauna crosses. I'm amazed at how much larger the crossed birds are compared to the pure Wyandotte. We compared the crosses to last years notes on the Wyandotte and it's confirmed --they are indeed a bigger bird than their parents. Well, at this stage anyway. The one on the far left I believe is going to be a roo. The other 2 are pullets. We intend to add this trio to our permanent flock in a couple months. (all identity comments refer to the first pic... they moved around a couple times in the other 2 shots, heh)
