I will have a couple of stragglers to add later, but here is the majority of the results from my first February hatch.
First, my shipped eggs. I only got one "normal" pharoah in the whole batch so he is in this picture and then used as a reference for all the other colored ones. I believe the other chick here is a lavender, but it's hard to tell this young.
I got four chicks that look like wild-types but with a blue/yellow cast to them. Not sure how they'll turn out. They are all on the right, with the reference chick on the left.
One that I assume is a pearl and one that looks like an Italian but who knows
they are on either side of reference.
From my own homebred babies I got two red range cousins. They may carry Italian and blue respectively or express it later. Both are left.
One either roux dilute or autumn amber chick (can't tell yet) and one plain Italian, full siblings, both right.
And the best for last
These two chicks (both top in pic) are from the same hen but I believe different fathers. I think they are a charcoal and a silver, but we will see. They are chunky monkeys!
I have another shipped pearl drying off in the incubator, and ~2 more late babies still on the way, one shipped and one homebred. I will be updating this thread with pics of them and of batch #2 which is 100% homebred and due in four or five days.
