February/March Grow-a-long

Chick #1 kept wanting to fly out of the box I kept them in for the picture, but that last pic was a score, their face was amazing.
I did a genetic post on their parents not long before they hatched, and heard the females will have dark feather shanks while the males will have white shanks, so I've been looking out for feather growth on their legs.
Interesting markers for the genetics! It will be neat to see if you are able to see the difference and when.
I hope to learn more about genetics and specifically color genes but I have been consumed with the basics so far. Lots to learn. :)

I got some pics of the chicks I hatched on the 5th. I still love the cute one that used to look like an owl (face colors. Lol) in the first pic
